Long Time no Blog

Been a while since my last blog as I have been on holiday. *Sigh* When you have a balcony view like this and then come back to freezing raining Glasgow its hard not to be a tad fecked off.

The day of the sub crawl. I feel like i have been punched with a hippo. I am so ruff its like someone has filled a badger full of nails and beaten me with it. I need the zantac to quell the heaving nausea, the sudafed to open up my miserly airways and the double expresso to give me some jazz. I could cry at the thought of another drink.

My wee dudes are staying at mine this weekend. The poor things are a tad traumatised by the whole affair and have just been hiding since they got here. Still cant feel to sorry for them as they ripped me apart when i was forcing them into the pet carrier. Hissing huffy bstarts!

Kings Lodge Stodge

I dont usually do the all you can eat buffet nonsense but for the first time in many moons i did tonight. Oh woe is me. All went well until i chewed an oddly textured piece of chicken in my curry. I swallowed it (stupidly) and inspected the other half still on my plate, it was feckin raw! I complained to the nearest staff member who nodded then swiflty whisked it away. Concerned for the other diners i checked if anything had been done about it 10 minutes later. I was assured that they were going to replace the trough of hoaching salmonella with a fresh batch. 15 minutes later and still nothing. Quite disgraceful. Still hadnt changed it when i left and i suspect they had no intention of doing so. Yech i feel an ominous rumbling.

Nightmare on Hope St

Johnny Police were completely stymied when they had to deal with a thin plywood sign falling off a building. I am surprised that the army were not called in.

Dull few hours in work livened up somewhat by a nice cheery march. Cmon the marchers!!!

Finally!

The bridge building is complete and we return to base. Astoundingly we have all done so well that each team is rewarded with a bottle of the finest cava in the land.

Team Amazing show off the unbridled fury of 'The Turntable'. Not only is this bridge incredible in its complexity it also has a rope pulley system with which you can see our barrel glides over with no human intervention. alright then perhaps a little bit. In fact a giant bit!
