Foolishly agreed to do a 10K run in Edinburgh at the start of May, this time I decided to actually train for it. How very foolish of me, I mean whats so wrong with my tried and tested technique of not training till a fortnight before the run? Then on the day of the run eating two scoops of glucose powder washed down with a double shot expresso and four creatine tablets?!?! It worked before. God look at the state of me and that was only about 2K. I have big blotches everywhere and I am breathing like an emphysemic twot. Somewhere there is a lesson here. On the plus side, what lovely blue eyes, aahhh! :o)
